Josh Franklin

Born and raised around Buninyong and Ballarat, West of Melbourne, Josh spent much of his earlier years exploring the bushlands around the area. He undertook his carpentry apprenticeship in order to be ‘close to timber’.

After completing his apprenticeship he worked on many commercial building projects including Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs and Modscape.   Franklin Property Maintenance was started in 2011 to provide building services, carpentry and property maintenance services around Daylesford and Central Victoria.. During this time many clients were contacting Josh to build custom tables and provide specific timber inspired modifications.

Over the past few years Josh has begun to accommulate timber and equipment so he can align to his true passion – bringing out the story of timber.
